Svart's two-part journey into the prehistory of Katatonia, the Swedish masters of all things dark and emotive, started last year with a double vinyl reissue of their debut album. Its conclusion happens now with a deluxe double vinyl version of their third album Discouraged Ones. The original vinyl version from 1998 had the entire album stuffed on a single LP, resulting in lower sound quality. The Svart version has the album split over three LP sides and features the songs from the rare 'Saw You Drown' EP (Quiet World & Scarlet Heavens) as bonus tracks. Available on transparent orange and black vinyl, both somewhat limited.
